In a low-scoring contest this weekend, the Broncos clinched a 13-11 win over the struggling New York Jets. Signal-caller Bo Nix threw an early touchdown pass and kicker Wil Lutz kicked the late go-ahead field goal to seal the ugly win.

Dominant Performance Wins Game

Despite registering nine sacks versus Jets QB Justin Fields, the Broncos found themselves trailing 11-10 following giving up a two-point play in the second half. Interestingly, the Jets managed a mere 82 total net yards during the contest.

Nix, who completed 19 of 30 attempts for 174 yards, led a decisive 12-play, 65-yard drive that culminated in Lutz's 27-yard field goal with just over five minutes remaining.

Record Struggles for Jets Attack

In spite of their dismal performance, the Jets maintained possession with a opportunity to drive for a possible winning score. However Fields was sacked on fourth down from the Denver 44 after coach Aaron Glenn opted to go for it instead of calling on specialist Nick Folk for a difficult field-goal attempt.

Fields had difficulties all game, completing just 9 of 17 attempts for 45 yards. New York finished with minus-10 passing yards, the fewest in any game since 1998.
